MARKHAM, ON – Get ready, world. The stage is set, the spotlights are on, and the search for the next wave of stars has officially begun. After two wildly successful seasons, Markham Talent is back with Season 3, and it’s taking the competition to new heights — now open to international performers for the first time ever.
From TikTok stars to underground music gems, street dancers to aspiring screen actors, this year’s #MarkhamTalent2025 Open Casting Call is calling all creative voices to show the world what they’ve got.

Organized by Markham Talent in partnership with Xinflix Media, this highly anticipated event is open to:

  • Singers & Songwriters
  • Dancers & Choreographers
  • Musicians & Bands
  • Actors, Models & Entertainers

Applicants compete in two categories: Ages 16 & Under and Ages 17 & Over.

  • Submission Deadline: Sunday, August 31, 2025 – 5 PM EST
  • Submit a 60-second performance video:
  • Registration: $60 (includes 2 priority tickets to the semi-finals)
  • Semi-Fianlists announcement: September 15th, 2025 – 5PM EST
  • Semi-Finals: September 26–27 |  Finals: September 28
  • Venue: Xinflix Media Auditorium

TIFF is sharing the first five Special Presentation titles of its Official Selection set to have their World Premieres at the Festival’s 50th edition this September.
