Gathering in the Golden Autumn – VMCA Hosts Annual “Happy Times” Community Event

On September 13, 2025, the Vaughan Multicultural Centre Association (VMCA) held its annual community gathering, “Gathering in the Golden Autumn – Happy Times”, bringing together nearly a hundred local residents and members for a joyful afternoon filled with creativity, friendship, and culture.

The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including floral arrangement workshops, hand-knitted sweater crafts, and a photography exhibition showcasing community members’ artistic talents and everyday beauty. On stage, performers presented songs, dances, poetry recitations, and musical performances, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.

To make the experience even more enjoyable, the organizers prepared an assortment of delicious food and refreshments, allowing participants to share not only art and laughter but also a sense of togetherness over fine cuisine.

VMCA representatives noted that “Gathering in the Golden Autumn” has become a beloved annual tradition that fosters connection and cultural exchange among Vaughan’s diverse residents. The event aims to celebrate community spirit, enhance cultural understanding, and create a space where people of all backgrounds can come together in friendship and joy.

The afternoon concluded in smiles and applause, with attendees expressing appreciation for VMCA’s continued efforts to build a welcoming and inclusive community.
